Centrally-located hotel at decent price.
A very decently priced (probably due to the current decline in passengers travel) hotel that is located next to the famous Li River and also in close proximity to the centre of the city, with easy access to lots of shops and eateries. The staff were nice and the housekeepers made sure that my room was tidy all the time. The only thing was that the waterfall show was under maintenance during my stay there and therefore I missed one of the main reasons for staying at this hotel (I think the hotel should have compensated its guests for this in some manner e.g. a free breakfast coupon or something). I also wished that they would have replace the fruits (I ate the bananas which were placed on the table in my room but that was it), which would have been a very nice gesture indeed. Overall, quite pleased with my stay and if they only did the little things that I’ve mentioned, I’d have felt much better.

Very nice hotel in central location
This hotel is located right along the Li River, and walking distance from the center of town. The view rooms are well worth the extra cost, so you can see the incredible mountains that surround the area. (Standard rooms have windows that face the interior of the hotel.) The rooms are modern and comfortable, but be prepared for the usual firm bed, which is common in China. The restaurants in the hotel are rather expensive, and the food is mediocre. The nightly waterfall show (on the hotel exterior facade) is the big event in town.
Traveler's tip on dining
Check out the 24 hour congee restaurant right next door. The food is excellent, and the prices much more reasonable than in the hotel.

very nice hotel - excellent location by the river
stayed there for 1 night. 1st got a smoking room but after a short discussion we were upgraded to a non-smoking room with river view. room was very nice and clean - would definitely go there again.
