ma ha ya no more haha!
those familiar with this spa will get the reference... When I pulled up to the new and improved and renamed Bella Monte, I started to smile and then continued to smile throughout the entire stay! The moment you enter the inviting front lobby and are greeted with that view of the mountain you start relaxing and that is the whole idea. The staff were super friendly and helpful... we give a shout out to Doug the Assistant GM for his tips and quips :) The rooms were comfortable, the usual suspects big tv,internet, little fridge etc The separate spa tub (big enough for 2 easy - 3 if your creative) and tiled shower were used more than one would think necessary to just serve as cleaning devices hmmm :) My companion and I did not partake in any spa services so we can not comment to any of that... we both got our heads wet in the pool and hot tubs though and found them to be perfect. The continental breakfast was comparable to any other... bagels yogurt fruit etc. Overall I will continue to recommend this resort! The view! The relaxation! The proximity to Palm Springs!

Desert Oasis
This resort was selected for a trip to visit our daughter who lives in the area following a read of other reviews and my daughter’s tour of the premises. The hotel looks brand new (extensively remodeled in ’08 according to the staff) and is a quiet alternative to larger, full service resorts. The pool, 2 hot tubs and sauna are all well situated to the rooms. The hotel decor is clean and fresh, with no apparent wear. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They try to address all needs quickly and to the guests satisfaction. There are still some bugs to work out with the staff. We stayed for 5 nights and after the first 2 the room had not been cleaned. A mention of this to management got this addressed and the room was cleaned the remaining days of our stay (hence the rating of 3 for cleanliness). There is a continental breakfast, it does not have much variety or quantity, but they make an effort. Otherwise there are no on-site food service options, so be prepared to drive to a local restaurant if you plan to eat a meal.

great motel!!!!
Fantastic place!!! Beautiful room, wonderful pool,spa, surrroundings!! Helpful, friendly staff----the best motel I’ve ever stayed in by far!!!
This is an adults only hotel, but not in an immoral sense----very quiet and peaceful and intended to stay that way!!!
