Very nice hotel for great price
Hotel is located in Laguito near Bocagrande beach. Cartagena is a small city and cabs are cheap for US standards, so that was not a problem. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. You had 2hrs of free internet daily which was nice.

Good value
Positives: 1) Cheap, clean and safe. 2) It’s a very basic, simple hotel, so it’s a great option if you’re on a budget. 3) It’s a quick 10 minute cab ride to the old town and taxis are readily available. 4) Friendly staff. Negatives: 1) The room consistently had a funky smell to it (like sewage). 2) Some of the staff did not speak English very well. 3) There is no currency exchange on the premises. 4) While the staff was friendly, they were not always as knowledgeable about as many things as I had expected.
