VERY NICE HOTEL
this hotel is nice place to stay easy access to rambla cataluya ,the metro,la casa batllo + la pedrera my wife and myself stay for 5 night very nice of course i recommend thi hotel to others

Great hotel in a fantastic location
We only stayed one night in July 2009 and really enjoyed it. . The room was a good size and very clean. The decor is similar to the W hotel stle - greys, olives and blues. The rooftop jacquizzzi and hot tub were a nice feature and at night, you grab a cocktail at the bar. Great value and walking distance to catch the ’hop on and off’ tour buses which take you all over the city. Another plus! Of course, one of the best tapas meals I have ever had in my life is down the block from the hotel at Cervezeria Catalunya. The sangria is fabulous! Highly recommend the hotel!

Good hotel in the heart of Barcelona
I stayed at this hotel for five nights. Though a tad more expensive than I was hoping to book, it is within walking distance to many Barcelona attractions and the staff was helpful with directions. It is in a safe neighborhood and is clean. I stayed on the 3rd floor and would suggest doing so because there is a train below the building that you can feel very slightly rumbling from time to time. The bed was a little hard but it was fine for a short stay. I did not eat at the hotel restaurant but dined down the street at Cerveseria Catalan. The food was nice at night when we did not have other plans.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Parc Guell was very nice on a sunny day. Barceloneta was nice to walk through and the Barri Gotic was nice for shopping. Warning that I did have a stomach flu for 24 hours and am not sure if it was from something I ate the first day, or from drinking the tap water. After getting better from being ill, though, I was able to have an amazing seafood paella at a restaurant called Salamanca, down by the beach in Barceloneta one night. Amazing...
