Not cheap, but worth it.
Spectacular view of the caldera! This lovely hotel/resort is located on the Fira-Ia hiking path. Only drawback - for people of limited mobility or heart/lung problems - there are steps involved, usually quite a few, to go between your room and the office, the pool, the bar, the breakfast room. We had the "cave room" - very large, comfortable, and definitely unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Would go back there again, given the chance.

Not good value. Far from towns and no car service. Meager spa
Not a good value. Should not be called spa resort. Hotel should have car service to towns and airport on some kind of schedule at least because of its location far from towns. Staff friendly but dissappointed with room which had no view although large . Breakfast acceptable but breakfast room tiny and should overlook stunning view of caldera not road! Not worth what it cost! Sorry.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If u choose to stay pick a room with a view near upper pool. Rent a car to visit beaches kamari and aghios georgios and stunning red beach. Do the thalassa cruuise at sunset but wear walking shoes for volcano and bathing suit plus change of cloothes for muddy hot srings swim
