Quiet haven at reasonable price in central London
The Staunton Hotel was surprisingly well appointed - indeed, all the Georgian house hotels on Gower street seem to have been renovated and upgraded recently. Our room at the top of the house and facing the rear was well equipped, comfortable, and very peaceful, wiht an interesting view over the rooftops towards Totenham Court Road.

Great location
Price was right and the location is great. Rooms are small but ample. I would stay again if price is most important factor.

Great service!
The hotel is a small property with charming rooms situated in a strategic location, a walk away from most of the shopping areas and attractions. The family rooms are spacious and cozy, clean and fully equipped. The staff was friendly and very helpful for whatever needs we had. The breakfast was rich and fresh every day. Only one point to highlight "no lift available" which means that if you have heavy luggages and a third floor room it can be quite challenging. I’ll surely recommend it.
