Charming French Hotel
Our first trip to Paris, we were very pleased with the Hotel Napoleon. Room was very clean and bathroom was large and well lit. There was some slight water damage(?) on the ceiling and one wall, but that did not detract from our stay. Location is great - one block from the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees and subway. Even so, our room facing the courtyard was extremely quiet. Staff was all friendly, professional and spoke English. We did not eat any meals here but did have a drink in the lounge/bar area. All in all a great trip and would highly recommend.
Eiffel Tower at night, Musee D’orsay and the Louvre of course. Jardin du Luxembourg and Versailles are not to be missed. Musee Marmottan-Claude Monet is a hidden jem, filled with Monets and an intimate setting without the crowds of the other museums. Buy museum tickets online or from tourist offices to avoid long lines on site. Public transportation was easy to navigate and covers a wide area, but if the weather is good, walk to really take in the area.

Not impressed
Hotel is lacking in comfort. Beds are not comfortable. There’s something severely wrong with the heating system in this hotel. It is hot without having the heat on in oktober! The location however is perfect. I would not go back. the hotel is simply too expensive for the comfort you get.
