Good hotel, great pool
Good location in the village but a little far from the beach (although easily accessible by bus). Not a lot going on at night in the village. Many restaurants nearby but none of them offerig high quality food. Staff was professional and very helpful. Breakfast was good. And the pool on the roof top is really great. A good place to rest and enjoy the pool.

They were overbooked and moved me to another hotel
I arrived and the check-in desk informed me that they over booked the hotel and needed to move me to their sister hotel, the Pertogola. While the sister hotel was okay, I do not think it was as nice or as modern as the Solana. The rooms also rent for less than the room I booked. The two hotels were a few blocks from each other so that was not a problem.

Except for the beds
Nice hotel, friendly staff and lots of good places to eat near by. Bus stops in front which is a plus. Enjoyed the stay but for one thing. The beds, they were made for someone weighing no more than 150 pounds. Heavier people may experience a little discomfort.
