Great rooms for great prices
The motel must have been newly renovated because it did not look like the pictures on the site. They did a good job with it too, there are even new beds (I saw them getting 5 new beds one morning). If you want a good place to stay in the heart of Pismo Beach i recommend the Ocean Palms Motel

This has become our favorite place to stay in Pismo.... price, comfort, location are great for us.

50’s vintage and over priced
The hotel was an old 1950 vintage that was well maintained but priced well above what you would expect to pay for the accomodations.
