Very close to Termini
This small, clean hotel is a good value for travelers who arrive and will depart from Rome’s central train station, which is also the bus hub and a metro stop. The hotel is located on the "quieter" side of the station, with many good restaurants nearby.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
First time visitors to Rome should take the red off and on tour bus that leaves from the station parking area for a better price than private companies.

Great location, good accomodations for the money
We got a great last minute deal on expedia for this hotel. The hotel is only 2 blocks from Rome’s central train station (Termini)- great location! Nice hotel for its age and for Europe. Staff was helpful, particularly little old man on night shift named Giovanni. Free bottled water every day, internet is very reasonable (only 2E an hr or 10E unlimited. Room has flatscreen and mini fridge. Nice free breakfast in morning. Free safe in room. Will go back here if we make it back to Rome. Beds weren’t the most comfortable but hotel was very clean. Make sure you print out confirmation of payment through expedia, the day clerk doesn’t speak good English...
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Get the Roma pass for 23E which gives you unlimited 3 day travel on metro and busses. Rome was fabulous and this was a good place to stay! The best pizza we found in Rome was right outside the colesseo as soon as you walk out of the colesseo metro station on your left. You dine right across from one of the most beautiful sights in Rome & pizza and a coke were only 8E.

Very convenient and accomodating
Hotel Gorgi was very convenient to the train station in Rome. The staff was helpful and gave us a lovely room.
