Hotel Paris Bastille

Very Nice Hotel. Great Location

The hotel staff all spoke English so that was really nice. Lots of restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. The "hop on hop off" bus has a stop two blocks away and the metro is only a block away. Quiet location and very safe area. Definitely would stay again.

Wonderful place, great location, very clean and comfortable

This hotel is a mix of European style with some American amenities.We stayed in one of the family rooms and were extremely pleased. It was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was worth the cost and provided choices even for those of us that need gluten-free. We were so full from breakfast, we often didn’t eat until 2 in the afternoon. The hotel is 1/2 block away from the metro station and a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. Really nice, helpful staff, fluent in English.

We found it was hard to find a room for families. The room we stayed in had two twin beds together for my husband and me, another twin bed for our child, and a double size pull down bed for bigger families. The buffet breakfast is worth the money.

Good value; good location

Hotel is close to Notre Dame and mass transit. People are friendly and rooms are clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable gem of a hotel

The Hotel Paris Bastille was the perfect boutique hotel for my daughter and I to spend 4 days in Paris. The location was convienent to a metro stop which allowed us easy access to the entire city. The Bastille area has a lot of fun designer boutiques for shopping and quaint restaurants to try. We even walked from this hotel to the Isle St. Louis which only took about 20 minutes. We really felt like we were mingling with the locals here instead of being in a more touristy area. The rooms were a bit small, but my daughter had been studying abroad for the summer and had an extra large suitcase and we still had room to walk around the room. We were there over Bastille Day so there was a large festival at night outside our hotel room with several bands performing into the night. Our flight was early the next day which made me a little concerned about getting any sleep, but the rooms were very quiet and we slept just fine. Only concern was some days the maid service wasn’t the best and the night crew spoke very little English, but we managed. All in all, it was a great little hotel that I would definately return to again.

springtime in Paris Bastille

The hotel was far beyond expectations. Our only disappointment was that air conditioning is not activated until May, leaving our 6th floor room rather warm in April; opened windows are fine except for sreet noise. Staff was very helpful in getting me to the Embassy when I needed an emergency passport. location is near Metro and a short wlak to Gare Lyon -- perfect for catching an early train.

Great Value and location

In my experience, 3 star hotels in Paris can be quite dismal, so I did not approach this hotel expecting much...the room was well kept and very comfortable. It was small, but that is to be expected in most hotels in Paris anyways. Definitely exceeded my expectations! The breakfast was not impressive, but when in Paris one should go buy a few things from a patisserie in the morning. Great location, steps from the Bastille metro stop.
