Mixed feelings
The over all feeling of the hotel was pleasant as were the people at the desk, but our air conditioner woke us up in the middle of the night with a loud squell. They offered to change our room, but we were too exhuasted to move, and my sister was complaining about her bed in her room, so we left a day early. Unfortunately, because we had booked through Expedia, we had to pay for the extra night anyway. We might have stayed, but when people haven’t had a good night’s sleep, they get cranky and a couple of us were very cranky. Other then these very specific problems that the hotel was willing to fix, it was a nice room for the money.

Very Homey but not very hospitable
This hotel is extremely clean and smells wonderful as you walk in. However do not arrive a minute early or you cannot check on. We had driven seven hours and arrived 1 1/2 hours before check in. We had to sit in the lobby and wait for "check in" time. The girl behind the desk would not even check to see if our room was done. She put up her hands and said "I cannot check anyone in before three".

Small but nice
When we can, we prefer to stay at Country Inns becuase they are all about the same and the quality is pretty good. This hotel was small, but it was nice. The walls btwn the rooms were a bit too thin however (since we could hear the people next door to us "having fun" and the commotion from the breakfast room in the early morning).
