Facility was good for short stay
Our overall stay was above average, unfortunately we were there for four days for a fishing tournament and the hotel lacked adequate parking for truck/boat. But the hotel staff did everything to accommodate the parking dilemma.

The hotel was quiet clean and convenient to resturants and other business.

quite convenient to Lake Wheeler and had hook ups for boat battery chargers I will stay at this hotel next time I visit, Staff was very helpful

Room given to me was not cleaned up yet. Had to go to other room,which was not ready yet.

LaQuinta Decatur
On first glance, the room appeared to be okay, but on further inspection I was distressed by the condition of the bathroom. The grout at the base of the shower was covered with mold and the ceiling was very water stained. There was a section of the ceiling where the paper was actually falling from the ceiling. The wallpaper border over the door to the room was hanging off of the wall. The heater had no happy medium, we were either roasting or freezing. There was no extra blanket for the bed, which had a sheet and a bedspread only on it. If we hadn’t just driven all the way from Maryland, we would have walked out immediately.
