good experience
It was a great experience especially because it was isolated from loud noises. We loved the pool, the breakfast and our privacy.
Very accomadating for a family of 5. Staff very patient and helpful.

Reasonable price 30-45 min from South Padre
They had a great morning buffet, it was clean, the staff was friendly, and it wasn’t to far to South Padre. Very reasonable rates. Outside pool was clean but seemed very secluded from the rest of the hotel.
Traveler's tip
Beware, even if your reservation says "confirmed for late arrival", call the hotel if you will be there after 8pm. We arrived after 11 & our room had been given away. So they put us in the manager’s apartment, which would have been great, but the TV & AC didn’t work in the living area. The staff made a real effort to help us,& moved us to another room the next day, but no offer for compensation for the miserable first night for the half of our group that had to sleep on couches with no AC.

Exceeded my expectations.
The staff was courteous, patient and eager to please. The hotel was easily accessable, close to the major highways and clean. The continental breakfast was prepared on time and the surroundings were very hospitable. I was pleased that I had followed my instincts and not invested more money in a more expensive facility, because this property was obviously worth every cent.
