Really a nice hotel

The people there did everything in their power to ensure we had a plesant stay. Try having dinner there one night. Morocco home cooking at its best!

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Hire a local guide the first day. It helps a lot.

Adventure

The lodging is fantastic. It is just finding the lodging that can be a little frustrating. It is worth tipping some of the local kids a dollar to help you find the riad the first time or two. Once you get your bearings in the souks you will be ok.

Not Impresed

The hotel itself was not in bad condition. However the area around the riad was less than appealing. The street outside was filled with broken trash bags. My first day there was no running water. And the guide service they provided attempted to charge me a rate 6 times higher than we originally agreed on. Then would not show me his guide liscense (giving tours without one is illegal). Make sure your guide has one before the tour!! Morocco was incredible. I would suggest trying another hotel. Marrakech itself was amazing and I would not pass up visiting the city.
