Home away from home in the center of Milano
Great location, great place for anyone who does not like to stay in impersonal hotels with many rooms. Each room is in fact an apartment of its own. 2 minutes from Duomo. Managers (Stefano and Marco) are really helpful. Simple, clean, nice. For breakfast you are given a 7 EUR voucher to go to a panini place just downstairs, and it is one of the best paninis ever + wonderful coffee. We stayed in Fiorichiari: located on the 2nd floor of the building there was some little noise from the street (but not much, as the windows are on pedestrian zone). Living room + bedroom+ 2 bathrooms and a walk in closet; very nice and spacious even through the bedroom is quite small. Tiffany was booked, but if ever we are to come back, we’ll make sure to book well ahead, in Tiffany appartment. We were let in just to have a look and it is a-ma-zing. ALso located on the 2nd floor.

Great room, not great service
The hotel was very hard to find as it was not marked, the concerige at this place was rude and not helpful at all. However, the manager came down and showed us to our rooms and was very kind and helpful.

Stranger than paradise
Nothing is farther from glamour than "Glamour Apartments". The third floor of an office buildind under construction is converted to a sort of an apartment hotel. No reception, no personnel, no internet. It is in pedestrian zone, so taxi cannot get there closer than a block away; and no taxi drivers know the address. The only possible reason to stay there is proximity to the city center (The Cathedral - Duomo). Breakfast included in a nearby cafe is pretty good though. There is very few real hotels in the center of Milan, so this place may be a solution, but only as a last resort, if you cannot find any room in any other place to stay.
