Great space.
The building houses about 5 or 6 different hotels. However, Hotel Giotto Flavia reception is right up front next to the elevator. There was an extremely kind man when we arrived. He gave us a map and was knowledgeable about the entire city. He gave us tips and spoke English very well. Our room was pretty large (we had 4 in our group) and clean. There’s a flat screen and a nice bathroom. Room service was always ready to come in the morning. Breakfast was great--a lot of selection with liquids and different breads. The only negative thing was that the air conditioning didn’t really work. We never really inquired about it anyway, because we were always on the go. But it would’ve been nice to have in the evening--so the window wasn’t open and we wouldn’t have to hear the pigeons at 6 in the morning. Overall, I’d definitely stay at this hotel.

a little random but great neighborhood
The Hotel was a bit random in that there were 4 of us and 2 of us stayed in a room in the hotel with the lobby and breakfast and the other 2 of us stayed in a hotel about 2 blocks away. Both were small but clean and safe rooms. We chose this hotel because of its price but lucked out on the location. It is in a really fun neighborhood with plenty of local restaurants and pizzerias. It also has 2 little mini grocery stores with wine:) and fresh fruits and veggies. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the Republica square that has a metro stop and a few more restaurants and lots of shopping. The republica also has an unknown basilica that has a lot of Michael Angelos paintings, its a must see! I would go back, the neighbor and proximity to the metro are a definite plus. The hotel itself is a little odd but our stuff was safe and we hardly spent any time there. A great cheap place for flexible people that want good restaurants!
probably not the best for a family with young kids as you might not be in the same building and the rooms only are big enough for 2 adults

Not impressed
The location is very convenient, the rooms are confused because there are, several hotels in the same building. We spended 3 nights, the sheets and the towels were no changed and the floor was no cleaned they do not even pick any thing from the floor. In the other hand the clerk was very kind, very helpful, we wanted to tip him but he did not accepted
