What to expect: This nonsmoking hotel is in the 1917 Railway Exchange and the 1937 Art Moderne Title building. Guests—their pets, too—are greeted by Hercules, the hotel's resident shih tzu. Hercules often lounges in the lobby, an opulent space dominated by a domed ceiling painted to resemble the inside of a 19th-century hot air balloon. Panzano - A local favorite, the Hotel Monaco Denver's restaurant serves contemporary northern Italian cuisine—homemade pastas, traditional meats and game, fresh seafood, and salads. The restaurant seats 160 diners on the first floor; private dining for up to 50 people is available in the wine cellar on the lower level. The restaurant includes an on-site bakery and is open for dinner daily, breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday, and brunch on weekends. Gluten-free menu is available. The bar offers cocktails, beer, and wine, as well as late-night dining Monday through Saturday. Reservations are recommended.
Recreation
