Hotel in Salzbburg
The personnel at the hotel were very gracious and helpful.. The buffet breakfast was a nice perk! It would have been nice to have free or reduced parking fee, but with limited space, that may not be possible. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting in Salzburg.

Good Hotel
Although I booked the hotel based on its cooking facilities, there was only a hot plate provided. No cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots pans - nothing. Other than that, very clean and friendly place. Close to everything!!
Traveler's tip on dining
If you are self catering, make sure you dont get to the supermarket late. I got there just as they were closing and was told that I was too late and would not be served if I tried to buy anthing. I had to wait behind a line of people paying for their groceries while I went without.

Huge room, uncomfortable bed
Nice hotel, pretty good location in the city. We got a HUGE room with a separate living room (!) and a kitchenette. There was a small fridge filled with all sorts of beverages but their price was so exorbitant we didnt consume anything. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, stiff as Ive never had one before. The pillows were too soft! Neither of us had a good sleep because of this. Pity, because otherwise it would have been a nice place to stay. The bathroom was inexplicably tiny as well, no bath tub! :-( I also had an incident the first night: Im allergic to feathers and before going to sleep, around 11 pm, I realized the pillows were filled with them. So went to the front counter and asked to have them replaced, to which I got a "It might not be possible" reply... saying I should have asked before. I went back to my room, sulking cause I thought I would have to sleep without a pillow. 10 minutes later a guy brings me antiallergic pillows, but we didnt realize until we lay our heads on them, that one of them was from a smoking room! It reeked of tobacco. So we had only one pillow to use on that night. The breakfast was pretty good, but Ive had better. Ill stay somewhere else next time.
