Very Nice Resort
Nice spa, beautiful beach and great service. By chosing the Royal section you benefit from the facilities and variety offered by a huge resort without losing the intimacy of a smaller venue. Great place to rest, we will probably go back.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
If you want peace and quiet, make sure to book in the Royal section for adult only. The private pool, restaurant, beach section combined with the butler service are worth the extra money.

Want to go back
This was the second time we have stayed at the "Grand Palladium Riviera" in the "Royal Suites" area. The first time we stayed in the Mayan Cabana and the second time we stayed in the Junior Suite. Both rooms were wonderful. The only thing I didn’t like is in the Junior Suite they had glass doors for your toilet area which weren’t totally enclosed and it lacked for privacy while going to the bathroom - you could hear everything. Also, the jacuzzi tub is so big it would take forever to fill up so we didn’t ever get to use it. But those were the only downfalls I could think of. This is a huge resort so staying in the Royal Suited area has it advantaged - private lobby, private bar, private pool and private ride to all the other areas of the resort. The service was awesome, the beach was beautiful. This resort is huge! It basically is 4 resorts in one - Grand Kantanah, Colonial, White Sands and Riviera. Each one newer than the other. I did not use the Spa but the people that went with us that used their services only had wonderful things to say about it. Like I said I would go back in a heart beat!!!

Again, if you are going as a couple stay in the Royal Suites area, as a family any of them would be great.
