Location is convenient
Great location and an easy walk to most anything. Most of the Embassies are withing a 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants, cafe’s and bistro’s as well. When booking your reservations online make sure you keep a copy of your confirmation and what you paid for. Having this information saved us about $50 per night that the hotel wanted to charge us.

Not exactly a five star!!!!
Recently, I stayed in the Dominga Hotel in Riga on business. I am a lady who was carrying about 50 pounds of luggage. I struggled past the porter with my fifty pounds of luggage while the young porter at the desk smiled and waved to me but offered me no help! I was awoken at 3:00 AM by a group of really drunken guys and their hookers trying every door on the floor in an effort to find their own rooms. I complained to the desk but no response. This lasting almost one hour until 5:00 AM Such was my stay. Not a serious hotel for the business traveler!!!! The staff is young, well-meaning,and pleasant but very badly trained. They don’t have a clue about custoner service.!!!! The hotel accomodations are adequate but nothing special. Not worth a four star rating by a long shot! EAV

The Best in Riga
This hotel is in a nice, renovated classic style building, it has very friendly service, great breakfast buffet, cable internet and WiFi, luxury rooms for not a luxury price, and it is located in the perfect, upper class embassy district of Riga right near a park by the main river that extends into the Old Town. For this price, it doesn’t get any better.
