I don’t want to stay here ever again!
I had problems with phone service, unable to make local calls, unable to receive voice messages. The hotel offered me another room but I turned it down, the room smelled, showed signs of mold and mildew. How I rated the hotel: -Quality of svc: 3, the maint. techs/front desk pers responded immediately whenever I made a call but it took a long time for them to fix or not fix my problems (i.e. broken room card key, inability to make local calls, leaky iron, etc). Asked the hotel mgr about a discount on my room and was told to check out early in order to get a refund for unused days/nights. This particular stay was during FAMU’s and FSC’s homecoming week, all hotels booked solid. My flight was locked in--no way I’m paying a penalty fee to make a last minute flight change. -Cond. or maint. of hotel: 2, mattresses were old and raggedy, the rooms were no longer equipped with a covered bench for sitting on. -Cleanliness...: 2, fridge & MW both dirty. -Comfort...: 2, AC/heating unit very LOUD, difficult to sleep, requested a replacement iron three times before getting one that didn’t leak water, had to replace the ironing board once; when locked out of my room, it took the maint. tech over 2 hrs to fix the door, he finished after 10pm. -Convenience...of location: the hotel is at least 7-10 miles from the nearest Walmart and major shopping centers. -Surrounding neighborhood: 4. -Overall satisfaction...: 2, Don’t ever want to stay at this hotel again.

Good bargain for budget minded
Got a very low rate and needed to be reasonably close to Capital. Hotel is right off of the highway and an easy drive to Capital. Not a new or fancy hotel, but the very low price I got made it a reasonable room for the money. Room also had free WiFi that worked well. Free breakfast was fine but not fancy.

Great night sleep
This was a great value for the price paid. I have stayed in a lot more expensive hotels that were not as nice as this one. I went for a tour of FSU and this was easy to find and close to the college. I could not have been happier.
