Comfortable, friendly, but lots of plane noise
The hotel is very nice & comfortable. Staff is very pleasant & helpful Was checking out of room in morning to attend a seminar at the hotel & they offered to store my luggage so I wouldn’t have to leave it in the car all day. Restaurant food was very good - but slow service with few people in restaurant for dinner. Better service at lunch the next day. I did notice plane noise, which surprised me, since I’ve stayed in Boise at a less expensive hotel in a similar location to the airport - and did not notice any plane noise. The waterfalls, etc. do a good job of cutting the inside noise. Driving directions to hotel were not clear - got lost twice after getting off freeways & had to stop & ask for directions.

Excellent Value for Money
The Embassy Suites, Portland Airport, is an excellent hotel airport option. It’s convenient to the airport and public transport to the city, clean, beautifully furnished and well-worth a stay. In our case, we had a very early departure from PDX. To accomodate us, the hotel provided us with a box breakfast to compensate for the fact that we would be missing the usual complimentary breakfast. A great place to stay!

Excellent meeting rooms. Good access to transport to the city. WIFI was a bit of challenge, however.
