reliable lodging
Veneto is a large hotel with a mezzanine casino in the middle of Panama City. This is not the one for great coastal views. There’s easy taxi access to everywhere. The staff was prompt, well-coached, and helpful-- management is quite professional. I had trouble with the in-room safe, but the security staff was prompt, understanding, and helpful. Laundry service was excellent and fast. Steak house provides a good eat but is too expensive. The restaurant in the lobby is wonderful for its breakfast and lunch buffets. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. I felt safe wandering around, even at night. I’ll probably stay there again.

Great Hotel in Panama
The hotel is well situated in the heart of Panama City. It is close to shops and restaurants. We loved eating at the local restaurants and at the Veneto’s restaurant "NY Steakhouse" was out of this world. We had the best waiter at the Steakhouse, Roberto Martinez..ask for him.

A very nice hotel
The hotel was very nice, clean and the staff were very helpful and courteous.

The Panama Canal was very interesting. Other than that there wasn’t a whole lot to do or see
