Would absolutely return.
Arriving at the hotel entrance was a shock and the lobby made my heart stop but the speed getting into my room was terrific. The next surprise was no automatic bell hop to take me to my room nnless I specifcally asked was a surprise but the appearanc of the room made up for everything. It was attractive and extremely clean. The bathroom was a nice size though no bathtub. My room was a club and it was fine as I was alone but I understand the standard is much larger. This s a social club so the gym is really great.. The location was fantastic. Across the street from Rockefeller Center. The only drawback is no paper and no phone book

Almost very good
Good points: Location, location, location for mid-Manhattan tourist sites, especially Broadway theaters (but without being in Times Square), MOMA, Rock Center/Radio City MH (next door), St. Patricks (1 block), Fifth Avenue stores; Carnegie Hall about 8 blocks. Several all-night delis and moderate-priced (for Manhattan) restaurants (Brazilian, Italian, Irish) nearby. Clean rooms. Friendly desk staff and housekeeping staff. Modern bathroom fixtures, flat-screen tv, fridge. Comfortable mattress. Not-so-goodo points: Small rooms, even for Manhattan. No comfortable reading chair, just a desk chair. No closet, just a cubby with a rack. No space to store luggage. Not many drawers. Only 2 elevators, and they had problems reading your keycards. Hardly any lobby: 1 couch & 2 chairs. Few rooms have any nice views. Overall, though, a nice find and a bargain compared to some older, less-recently renovated hotels in the same vicinity and price range.
Dont buy tickets from the young folks walking around the line at the TKTS booth in Duffy Square. They often dont have legitimate tickets, or have partial-view tickets (but dont tell you),
