Good place near Malpensa, Lake Maggoire
This is a clean new hotel in a small town about 20-30 minutes north of Malpensa airport. I passed some of the other hotels on the way and am very glad we stayed where we did. Several very good restaurants within 1-2 blocks. Beautiful lakeshore towns and drives just minutes away. It is the only place I’d stay the night before a flight. It is worth at least two nights to see the area and Lake Maggoire. We stayed two nights.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Road into Arona, on the lake, is easy (10 minutes), but getting back is tricky due to one way streets in town, so be prepared. Lakeside drive north is a dream. Try Di Gustibus restaurant near hotel.
