Good location, not for the luxury-minded
I needed a hotel that was inexpensive and close to the train station so I could catch an early bus to the airport. This hotel more than fit the bill. Neither the mattress nor walls were very thick, but the room was huge and clean, the price was nice, and the staff was great, even on a Sunday night.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
This is really close to the train station, and that’s about its only pull. Stay here if you need to be close to transportation, otherwise look elsewhere for a more comfortable place to sleep.

Great Hotel option for access to trains and airport buses
Hotel Gonzaga is a great option for people who need to be near the train station or buses. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel. It is less than 5 minutes to walk to the train or airport buses that leave from the station. The location is not the greatest for siteseeing but a metro stop is right in front of the train which makes it easy to get around the city.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
For travelers flying out of Malpensa on early morning flights, take the airport shuttle bus which is very close to the hotel and only costs 5 Euros versus 100 in a taxi. It leave every 15 minutes.

The hotel staff was unhelpful and cold. Our room was small but clean and quiet.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Milan is famous for its haute couture and that’s about it. Once you’ve seen the Duomo and La Scala you’re done. People are busy and cold. Fly in and go to Turin. Much better city to visit.
