okay except smelly bathroom

The room was serviceable, but the bathroom really smelled bad. That bathroom smell over-shadowed anything else good about the stay.

Friendly Staff

Very friendly and helpful front desk clerk but the room was not all that great. Room was clean but the coffee pot wasn’t cleaned out from the last guest.

Just The Basics

Our stay was for a short time and we just needed a place to stay overnight. The room was clean. Nothing fancy but would definately stay again.

Comfortable but staff noisy in the middle of the night.

Location and comfort were satisfactory. The one-way street was easy to make a U-turn. Our BIG complaint was the vacuuming at 3am! Our room was 4-5 doors away from the Breakfast Room and I think they were cleaning and setting the area for breakfast. The breakfast was typical for this type of hotel, bagels, cereal, juice, boxed pastry and a bowel of apples. The single serving coffee maker had lots of options but only the medium strenght, medium size worked.

Staff at the hotel very pleasant. Wish the smokers would go farther that just outside the front door. Breakfast needs to be improved.

Not impressed

It needs a major renovation. The bathroom door (which was green) had a hole in the back of it and they used duct tape to put over it and green spray paint. Tacky. In a run down area also. Did not feel safe.

the bathroom was too small. the room was too small. i felt like we were triping over eachother in the room. only got 3 towels..1 for each.. there were no extras.

Hotel was very nice and very comfortable. Very pleased.

Smelled like old cigarettes.............

This hotel needs some updating and the hotel smelled like old cigarettes....nasty. This is suppose to be a non-smoking hotel. Asked if I could check in early and they denied me. They told me to come back when it was check in time. Ouch....There are definitely better hotels!

Good place for the price

Good place for the price. Pool looked nice but didn’t use it.

Good for the money.

It was a lot less expensive than other hotels in the area. It was clean, parking area was large and well lit with keyed entry in the rear. Breakfast was included and was good. Overall a good hotel and I would stay there again.

You can hear everything going on in the hallway as well as rooms next to you.

Satisfied overall

Room was comfortable and there was plenty of space even for four people. There was also a good sized refrigerator with small freezer and a microwave. The sink is located outside of the bathroom which made getting ready with four people a bit easier. The shower appeared to be a bit dirty, I would suggest wearing sandals. The fan in the bathroom was not working and the tissue box was empty with no replacements. The outdoor pool was nice, clean, and very enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was not bad if you just want to grab something nice and quick on the way out. There is also a MacDonalds and an Arbys very close by and a few sit-down restaurants and a movie theater a bit further up. It is easy to get to Six Flags; it’s about 7 miles away. Overall it was convenient, comfortable, and better than I expected for the price.

The set up of the room was nice. Needs updating. Bathroom was dirty. Check in was a little slow. For the price, it was decent.

Good Value

Hotel was alright for just somewhere to stay. A little clean-up is in order for the room I stayed in. The shower curtain was a bit moldy. The bed was comfy and that is all I did was sleep there. I would stay there again.

Good value, low end accommodation

The room was fine - bearing in mind it was an econony room and the front desk service was very polite and helpful. BUT, our room was double booked, which we found out at 3.15 a.m. when somebody else tried to let themself in. Luckily we had the safety chain in place.

Great roadside hotel

Not expensive, by Springfield, MA off I-95. Clean, friendly, etc. Very happy with stay.

Nice hotel

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Convenient to downtown Springfield, easy access to restaurants, shopping, major highways to other areas. Bed was comfortable. The only drawbacks were no soda machines, the outdoor pool was being drained already and a limited continental breakfast.

I would say yes and no...

Ok place for a quick stop after a day at Six flags, but that would be it. The staff was friendly and it was easy off an on the highway. Remember, you get what you pay for. ;o)
