Beautiful View
This hotel is very well located. Walking distance from the city of Amalfi. The room is very confortable with a balcony that has a magnific view of the bay of Naples. The beach is right below. This hotel was a great surprise.

Great Amalfi Coast Views From Your Room Window
A 50th Birthday celebration was our reason in staying in Amalfi and the views of the Amalfi Coast was a great treat. The room had a very large window that receded into the wall which allowed the sounds of the waves in. The front desk was very helpful in suggesting a nice dinner. The transportation to other towns was with Bus and Ferry (and Jet Boat). I suggest taking motion sickness pills when riding the bus to any of the other towns along the coast. Please do not rent a car as there are no available parking spaces along the coast and the roads are really built for one car but somehow two cars or bus(s) make it through. As with the hotel, we could have not picked a better spot as the bus and ferry port was near by to explore other areas of the coast and the made to order eggs and coffee and other items for breakfast make it seem that you are on a cruise to many ports. There are alot of things to remember when using the bus as you must have your bus ticket stamped before sitting down or the "Bus Police" that board so often will fine you 40 Euro(s). The small town of Ravello is a 25 minute ride above Amalfi and there are lovely concerts played at the Palace. One of the top 10 pools of the world is located in Ravello at Hotel Caruso. The Island of Capri is close by if you take the Jet Boat but watch the time when the last boat returns to Amalfi or a boat to Naples and a long bus ride to Amalfi will be the next step.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Many have said the the Blue Groto is not worth it since there are a lot of people trying to fit through a small hole and many hands are out for tips. Paestam (Greek Ruins) due south is another treat and a 50 minute bus ride to Salerno and a 30 Minute Train ride south will get you there but remember to stamp your train ticket before boarding or the same "police" will fine you. The Greek Ruins in Paestam is worth the trip as it reminds anyone of Athens Greece.

Great location, breakfast, no A/C
Really enjoyed Amalfi and the proximity of the hotel to the beach and restaurants. Views were gorgeous! Room was clean, but very noisy (hall noise + street noise) and A/C did not work - it was blowing hot air on a hot summer day(management claimed it was due to low power on the entire island).
Traveler's tip on dining
Try lunch at the restaurant just up the road across from Hotel Luna- GREAT pasta and the best view of the coast and town.
