well, you’ll survive, but...
i was not at all impressed with this hotel. they advertise it as a business/international hotel, but the staff does not have the communication skills and the hotel does not have the services to justify that claim. Sofitel is just down the road and was a much nicer, foreigner-friendly hotel at around the same cost.
Traveler's tip for business travelers
Be sure to travel to this city with a Chinese phrase book so that you can point to words that you want to communicate. Also, be sure that your hotel address is in Chinese and try to get an estimate of what a taxi drive should cost as the cab drivers are infamous for overcharging foreigners.
