Would go back again
Dont stay on the top floor of the hotel as the ceeilings are extremely low in the bedrooms. Unless your a midget but were 5"10 and 6" so it was really annoying. Otherwise everything else is fantastic. There are sooooo many activities you wont need to leave the hotel. Plus a great thomas cook rep for daily trips. Also we repaid for breakfast and dinner which was well worth it for cost reasons.

Not a palace, but worth staying!
Benalmedena Palace was a lovely place for our trip to the Costa del Sol in Malaga. We drove around over an hour before finally checking in. Get accurate directions if driving.The hotel resort has everything you & your family may need for a comfortable stay. Our room was clean & inviting with a nice view of the ocean with a balcony. The bedroom had a sloped ceiling,which was a little inconvenient on our heads, it was the perfect place to place our crib for our little guy. We were pleased w/the large bathroom, bathtub, & shower. The bath towels need to be replaced, as they are small and worn. The maid service was every other day,it was nice how she left animals made out of the towels on our bed,even a "manta ray" made out of the foot towel. It was nice to have a kitchenette for late night snacks or to reheat food. We had the Half Board option w/breakfast & lunch each day. While it was plentiful and hearty,we were disappointed that the buffet didn’t offer more regional dishes (ie, paella). The resort hot tub wasn’t very hot & the pool was a little too cool for an indoor one. We liked the sauna much better. The resort is a good location to major roadways to Gibraltar, Malaga, Grenada, etc. It is also close to the casino, many eateries & a nice port/marina area with shopping. Walking isn’t recommended, as the hotel is on a rather steep hill. Overall, a lovely time in Spain.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Use the street parking on the same road where the check-in to the hotel is. It is well lit and saves you 8 euro per day on the garage parking.
