Hospitality you can’t beat!
The Villa was recommended by a friend who had stayed previously. We booked for three nights and ended up staying four. Whilst it was a little difficult to find due to the convoluted route of one-way streets through the town of Signa, it is a great find. If relaxation in Tuscany is what you are after then this is ideal. Alessandro, the manager, is the consummate host and in many years of travelling is the best I have met; forever friendly and helpful with recommendations and suggestions for daily ventures. The Villa is renowned amongst reviewers for its breakfasts and rightfully so, they are extensive and provide a great selection for all tastes and included in the price! The Villa is just outside the town of Signa which is well situated for train travel to Florence, Pisa and other locations. We had a car and drove to Lucca and Pisa but used the train to travel to Florence. The rooms/suites have a rustic/country style and although not luxurious they are very, very comfortable, and very clean including the bathrooms. Wireless internet is available and free. They have a country/rustic style with artist themes. Fittings and fixtures are tasteful and very well maintained. The grounds are quite outstanding with a dam and woods at the rear of the main Villa building, all great for a walk. The restaurant on site serves great food at a reasonable price in a quite elegant atmosphere; service and choice were all very good. Bottom line - you can’t go wrong.
Speak with the Alessandro for great restaurant tips especially if the famed Fiorentine steak is your desire...and even if it isn’t.

another wonderful stay at Villa Castelletti
I just returned from another stay at Villa Castelletti and it was like visiting family. I received a very warm welcome from Betty, Luca, Alessandro, Diego, Sonia and Linda. As before, they all went out of their way to make my stay a memorable one. It’s that personal touch which makes this the best place that I have ever stayed in. I hope to return again soon.

Staff , food and atmosphere excellent!
The room was like a small apartment, the staff were above helpful and became family very quickly-all would be invited into my home with no hesitation. The hotel was a distance away from the train (which was about 15 minutes into Florence) and a taxi was needed to for transportation. The resturant was excellent with another group of helpful staff. The trip was too short!
