You get what you pay for
This is a great, cheap place for anyone who doesn’t mind a bare bones room and a bar in the front yard. However, if you are looking for a place to relax, this is not the one for you. St. Julians is so small that you can walk to the beach and to the nightlife from pretty much anywhere.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
If you are a guy looking to meet girls, don’t bother. The guy-girl ratio was probably 20 to 1. It reminded me a lot of Panama City Beach except that it is like that even in the winter.
