OK, but...
The sidewalk in front of the hotel was being dug up and redone. Noise was a problem both from construction during the day and from the bar across the street late at night. Internet access, while included in the price, was extremely slow. But overall, it was not a bad place. I’m not sure it really was a "four star" hotel.

Perfect new beachhotel
This a a perfect new 4* hotel with a perfect bufetbreakfast for a low price. All rooms have seaview but if you take a cheaper room you have side seaview, and if you pay for seaview you have smack widescreen boulevard and beachlook. The hotel is direct on the promenade while by the adres you might think it is one block from the boulevard. Only negative point is that its about 1km from downtown (san Miguel street) but a nice walk along the beachwalk. But at the last 300 meters between the beachwalk and downtown has to be done by taking a lot of stairs which is more a negative point of Torremolinos itself. You must choose between a downtown hotel and clime below or a beachhotel and clime upstairs!
Traveler's tip on dining
Along the boulevard you can walk kilometers along a nice pedestrian sidewalk along the beach. Walk 2 kom to the east and you arrive in Caruele where you can eat and drink much cheaper direct in the boulevard. It saves you climbing the stairs to reach the more expensive Torremolinos bars/restaurants.

Great experience!
Our stay at Hotel Isabel was great. My partner and I did have a corner room the first five days, and the room was large, clean and the views, spectacular. We then went on a tour around Andalusia, and returned to the hotel for a second stay of three days. Both stays were great. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. They all made our stay very pleasant! We will definitely return to Hotel Isabel!

You don’t need to go too far to have great fish. Just across the street, the chiringuito ’Copacabana’ serves great ’espetos’ (grilled sardines) and many other local specialties, or if you prefer a more traditional setting, then try ’el cordobes’.
