Hacienda Zorita

Hacienda Zorita is part of the architectural heritage of Salamanca, capital of the Cultura del valle del Duero. This former summer monastery of the Dominican monks and retreat for academics of the University accommodated Cristóbal Colón during the Valcuevo Conferences, where he obtained permission for his journey to the Americas. It has been fully restored by Haciendas de España and today hosts a five-star resort.
