Very nice place only 75 minutes from Munich
Hotel is a little hidden on a dead end quiet side street; generously sized and clean rooms with TV area, couch and separate bathroom. Very nice breakfast buffet considering the small size of the hotel. Backyard/pool not as nicely kept as on photos but still fine for families with kids. Staff was very helpful to find local treasures.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Don’t miss driving or walking to downtown Bad Reichenhall which is only a mile away and very nice with plenty of restaurants and coffe and ice cream places; truly Bavarian is the Buerger Braeu. The Eagle’s Nest by Berchtesgaden is only 12 miles away and a must and the view from there is worth every penny of the EURO 13.50 to get up there.
