Nice hotel but only as VIP

The hotel has an impressive exterior design, but the rooms are outdated, and only half of them have (small) balconies. As most Eilat hotels it is very crowded on weekends, so take advantage of their VIP package to escape the crowds.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Take the executive lounge package - you will get 2 additional benefits that will totally improve your stay: 1. access to the executive lounge on the 8th floor with the balcony view - you will feel like you are staying in a suite without paying the bill. Very romantic for a glass of a wine during sunset 2. VIP breakfast at the Yakimono restaurant on the 12th floor instead of the crowded restaurant at the lobby level. Same food, but much better atmosphere and a magnificent view

Worst 4 star hotel experience ever!

This hotel is a real disappointment. We arrived at the hotel and the front desk was unfriendly and unenthusiastic (and I am a gold member of this chain). The hotel is dated and needs an update. We did not have hair conditioner in the room. We needed to call three times to get it. There was no evening turn down service. We also needed to ask for bathrobes. The next day our room was cleaned and they took the towels but did not replace them. There were no wash clothes during our 3 day stay. The breakfast was loud, noisy and chaotic. There were 2 different dining rooms for breakfast and they kept opening one and closing the other. The orange juice was a diluted sugar water with a little bit of orange color added. The general attitude of the hotel staff was "we don’t want you here."

Highly recommend it

The hotel’s great...actually, one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed at. The pool was great, and the 12th floor Japanese restaurant was excellent. The only issue, and this is more an Eilat issue, is that the beach is limited. Hilton has a "private" beach, but it’s pretty small, and rocky. The hotel, though, was awesome...a nice surprise was the indoor parking was included during our stay (parking’s tough in Eilat) and the hotel staff were very attentive. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.
