Barcelona Hotel

This is a beautiful property in an out of the way location. Also, the AC is quirky -- first night was like an oven but worked fine after some experimentation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good and the waitress poured the Scotch like it was ice tea (lol) -- quite nice. Barcelona, of course, is wonderful. Next time, I’ll pay the premium and stay nearer Las Ramplas. If this chain has a property there, I’d probably use it.

Fine hotel close to main ways of transportation

Comfortable, nice and modern hotel, with close proximity to main ways of transportation (bus troustic stop, metro, Sants station, Aerobus stops). Hotel is located in an uncrowded street. The room was quite although there was a construction going on in the building facing the hotel. We stayed there between October 10th and 14th. The room and the corridors were always too hot, we couldn’t figure out why. There is a nice cafe just a few blocks away, opposite to the Joan Miro parc, where you can eat baguettes with good price.

Friendly, helpful staff; very clean, modern accommodations. The hotel is close to several metro stops as well as the main bus station. While it may not be within walking distance of the busiest tourist attractions, it is very conveniently located for the tourist/traveller willing to take the metro.

Luxury-Like Hotel, Good Location

This hotel is near railway station, and it takes 2 min to get the metro station. Also, it takes onlt 5 min to get the bus stop if you take bus tour city sightseeing.I’m impressed of this hotel is designed as luxury brand store. The clerk is skill in English and patient.

Great hotel

The hotel was great it is in a good location and near some great sights. The hotel was clean and modern, very European. I would definitely stay here again if I go back to Barcelona.

The only issue that we had with the hotel was that the parking was expensive and there is nowhere else to park around the hotel, so plan accordingly

Great value

The hotel location is great, short walk to plaza de espa~na where you can take the touristic bus, taxis or metro. The hotel is just as shown in the pictures, very modern and comfortable. Breakfast is a bit pricey but good quality. The staff was great, they fullfilled our request to have a crib (pack n play) in the room, and allowed us to keep milk in the fridge for our 1 yr old. We had a great time!

Don’t miss the magic montjuic fountain at night, breathtaking and free!! you can go to the top, and there is a small cafe with beer, wine and some pastries. That was our dinner for that night while enjoying the fountain show.

close to train station and magic fountain

very close to train station, which was good for day trips and taking the metro into the city center. we took the metro everywhere and it was only 2 blocks away from the hotel. hotel was clean and quiet, and the staff was helpful. Not very close to restaurants or sites, but that is only a short metro ride away

Very modern, comfortable

This hotel is very modern and comfortable. The rooms don’t have a lot of room to roam, but this is not so unusual for european hotels. The location is a few blocks from the main train station-- walk from there, don’t take the subway which requires lugging baggage up and down many steps.

This hotel is a very modern art decco facility. All of the staff is willing to help accomadate guests and can speak english. We stayed a few days prior to a cruise and found it a great base to stay for sightseeing. Very close to the train, bus, or neighborhood shopping.

Close and convient to the bus, train, or the hop-on/hop-off bus for sightseeing. All of the staff was commited to making sure the guests are top priority. Nice breakfast buffet is available daily.

A great place to stay

Very art deco and very different than the "norm" so if you want the traditional hotel look, then this is not it. Very clean and very nice. Quiet area of town.

Great Place, location, service.

Very close to the FIRA for any one with business there, staff very freindly and extremely helpful. Will definitly use this hotel again and will take my collegues.

Little Jewel in Barcelona

We loved our Bistro, Italian style hotel.. Smaller than American Standards, but clean and modern. When you enter the hotel, use the key to turn on electricity. The elevators are small, and in the hallways it is very hot. The staff speaks a little English but helpful. GO to the Montjuic Fountains...in walking distance. We were in walking distance to the Metro, and to great little cafe’s. You are not in the Las Rambles area or tourist area..however, we took a cruise and stayed "before" and "after" the cruise. I would recommend this hotel and area, but you will need a taxi. We loved Spain and glad we stayed 4 extra days.

Comfortable, good location

The Vincci Arena Hotel was in a convenient location, walking distance from the main train station (Sants), as well as to the metro. Our room was on the small side, but comfortable with expected 4* amenities. Breakfast was fresh and tasty - cost was $18 euros for 2 people.

Very modern , convenient

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise - a modern oasis on a quiet residential street. 2 short blocks to the Metro gives you "straight line" access to most key sites downtown for a one-dollar fare. The hotel was very cooperative in providing early AM check-in with no hassle, no extra charges. Our room (#212) was quiet with a great King bed, luxury bathroom. Free newspapers (all in Spanish),

Would Highy Recommend Baracelona!

We found this hotel to meet our needs completely. It is just as depicted in the pictures and has friendly, helpful, English-speaking reception staff.

I would recommend doing the 20 Euro touristic bus tour which is hop-on, hop-off and covers all of the highlights. Definitely visit The Temple of Sagrada Familia, Casa Batillo, and Park Quell. If you are leaving for a cruise from Baracelona I would highly recommend staying extra in Baracelona.

request for sheets change abandoned twice until spoken up to a manager. Plaza D’Espania is just 3 metro stops from the historic center, quiet and convenient. Don’t miss the magic fountain nearby.

Good value for newer boutique hotel

Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was quiet and comfortable. A very good value for this newer "boutique" hotel. It is very convenient to public transportation including Metro stations and the main train station. Also walking distance to former Olympic site. Away from hustle and bustle of La Ramblas.

There is a supermarket only a 5 minute walk to stock up on water, etc. Also a great little coffee shop nearby where coffee and croissant are only $1.70Euro.

A very good value

This hotel is spotlessly clean with a front desk staff that is uniformly pleasant, cordial and helpful. Every request for service or information was handled quickly, correctly and with an apparent desire to ease the uncertainties of people unfamiliar with the city. The location was quite good for touring, with the Plaza Espanya Metro only a five to seven minute walk away (taxis plentiful there also). Our room was a bit small although adequate in size by European standards. The hallways could have used some air conditioning in August. Otherwise excellent. We would return if visiting Barcelona again.

Very nice modern hotel

The hotel feels new. I liked ultra-modern decor. Room was large enough and very clean. Staff was helpful. A little far from major tourist places but close to hop-on-hop-off bus stop.

The Hotel staff was very helpful. The room and surroundings were well kept. Negatives include poor hotel resturant and late room cleaning service.
