Will definitely go back again

love the location. disney land shuttle is just right next to the hotel’s driveway entrance; Target is minutes-drive away. people working at the hotel are friendly. It’s a pleasant trip for our family. :)

2nd time at this hotel

After a good first stay back in July 2009, we decided to try this hotel again for our October 2009 trip. I’m glad we did. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were comfortable and the beds were great. The restaurant food was not bad and had a good variety to choose from. With a family of four, the suite is a nice way to make sure everyone has some space after a long day at Disneyland. The kids like the 2nd tv so they can watch their shows while the grown ups unwind in the other room.

Kids under 12 eat free meals at the hotel restaurant. This is only for eating inside the restaurant and does not apply to room service. Regardless, the food is good and you can save a few bucks.

Would definitely go back!

The Doubletree Suites were perfect. It was great having the extra room to watch TV. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff was excellent.

Great place! the customer service was GREAT!! I MEAN GREAT! I WAS SHOCKED!! I GOT A DOUBLE BED ROOM and when i got there they UPGRADED MY ROOM for FREE to a nice Suite! perfect place. it was quite, it was nice. great place. believe me!

Very pleasant

Great Service, pretty close to park, it took us about 15-20 minutes to walk to the park. Rooms are spacious. We are very satisfied.

Great Place to stay

Pool was a little to small, but okay. Room was wonderful. With-in 15 mins walikin distance from disneyland. $12 a day charge for parkinging at hotel.

Excellent Choice!

The hotel was a really good fit for traveling with kids. The rooms were very clean and it was nice having a separate room for the kids to take a nap in the afternoon. The staff was very professional and efficient.

Great Rooms for Family with Kids

Our room was great with separate bedroom and living room and a TV for each area. Clean, cool, and comfortable. Close to Disney. Short Drive to Knot’s Berry.

Family-friendly hotel

This is a superb choice for traveling with little ones! We had more than enough room with three adults and two children. Even the sofabed is reasonably comfortable, and the ability to have everyone spread out with coloring books, makeup kits, etc. is so beneficial. We will stay there again and again. We have annual passes, and will not hesitate to move from our usual hotel to the Doubletree for good.

Get the suite. It fits so many people you would be surprised! We never got in each other’s way and the kids loved the two TV’s and the warm cookies at check-in.

Magical Experience -- Not Only at Disneyland!

This hotel is lovely -- extremely well kept, sparklingly clean, and the best staff EVER. The restaurant is fantastic. Every aspect of our stay was perfect.

great place to stay

Had a great pool and staff. When my nephew became sick and his parents had to stay in the hotel they were given a small rubber ducky and a book by the cleaning staff. It is the small touches that mean so much. Warm cookies were given as soon as we checked in. Restaraunt had a nice breakfast Bar and the kids eat for free.

It is a long walk to and from Disneyland but if you have a large family the rooms are big enough for 6 and a crib. Lots of room..

Would stay at the Doubletree again.

I had a great stay at the Doubletree. The hotel was clean and the service was great. We had the Do Not Disturb sign up and housekeeping called in the afternoon to ask whether we needed them to service our room. Room service was faster than expected and delicious. Hotel was very close to Angel Stadium and other locations I had intended to visit.

Excellent choice for Disneyland vacation

We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree. The two queen suite we booked was huge and very comfortable, too. Anaheim Resort Transit has a stop right in front of the hotel, but it was not reliable (spent 40 minutes waiting for it one night), so we walked to and from Disneyland twice - it’s about a 20 minute walk.

Best hotel room I ever stayed in

It was extremely valuable to me to have both a refrigerator and microwave in the room. It allowed us to have some basics like milk, juice and someplace for leftovers. It was spacious and the beds/pillows were super comfortable. The room was immaculate.

You can walk to Disneyland though it is a mile walk.

Loved the Hotel and the staff!

This place was great! They let us check-in 4 hours early and the staff was awesome! We loved getting the warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in. Staff was very kind and helpful and offered us lots of extra cookies! Even at check-out when we were about to purchase a dozen cookies to take home--they gave them to us free of charge. The room was nice and spacy, very clean. We will definitely go back each time we visit Disneyland! (Note: we drove to Disneyland during our stay instead of walking.)

Take water and snacks to Disneyland! It’s much cheaper and Disneyland staff is okay with it.

GREAT experience!

We have been making this same trip for 8 years and this was the BEST experience so far. Upon our arrival we were greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies...yummmyyy! We booked the room and when we arrived we noticed that the sink was a bit slow. We called and immediately the front desk sent someone to fix it. When he noticed it would take too long they immediately set us up to another room. We did not have to go down to the lobby, the front desk sent soemone with our new keys and we were off to the new room. The rooms were luxurious and comfy. And the beds were very comfortable. We WILL stay here from now on as long as we visit Disneyland!

Best Disneyland Area Accomodations!

Fairly spacious 2 room suite with (closed door)separate bedroom (2 queens) and living room (with comfortable sofa bed.) Flatscreens in both rooms, and a large desk with large desk chair. We easily accomodated 5 adults/teenagers. We’ve stayed in other Disneyland area hotels, but nothing this spacious and well equipped for the price. 2 blocks to Disneyland. Will definitely stay here again!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

You can park at Disneywalk for 3 hours free with validation. Enough time for dinner and shopping or even a quick trip into Disneyland.

Great experience

When we booked the reservation, we had requested a disabled room. However, when we checked in, it was not available. They were most accomodating, though, and upgraded us to a lovely two room suite at no charge, brought in a shower seat to assist my husband, and didn’t charge us for parking. We would definitely go back again, at 1/3 the price of the Grand California Disney Resort.
