The most beautiful park is just across the street and was the just outside my window. Free shuttles available.

Fine service
A pleasant hotel a little bit out of the way, but very close to the major metro/subway line. Quite convenient. Friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast, and the hotel had everything that a traveler might find necessary. Fast internet connections, as well. Room not extremely large, but quite comfortable; and absolutely clean! Highly to recommended!
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
There are many pleasant parks; use them! The surroundings, too, are wonderful, and train travel is easy, efficient, clean and a pleasure. The local concert hall - Kithara - is very close to the hotel; they put on terrific concerts (I went to a piano recital by Yoshihiro Kondo: fabulous!).

Novotel Sapporo
Great hotel and awesome customer service. The rooms were a little small but that can be expected in Japan. Free internet and only a short walk to the subway station. Close to local attractions and a super friendly staff. I would stay there again!!
