would definitely go back
The service at this hotel was great and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would not mind going back and staying there. To top it off it’s just beatiful and the view to downtown is great too! Its near the traveler attractions and the hotel has many restaurants that you can choose from.

Great Place to Stay in the Heart of KC
Our party of 4 stayed at the Hyatt during the KC Irish Fest Weekend. This hotel was extremely convenient to all the festivies around the downtown area. We found the customer service to be great and they even accommodated our request to have adjoining rooms at check in.
While the breakfast at the Hyatt is GREAT, it is pricey. If you are looking to save a few bucks, go to the diner at Union Station. Good prices, good environment soaked in history, and great food. Also, if you are looking for good seafood/cajun food, make sure and go to Jazz (approximately 1 mi away). This is a cozy little restaurant where food is awesome (usually around $10 or less) and there is a jazz band on the weekends. Best cajun food I’ve had outside Louisiana. Make sure and check out the WWI museum. If you are a Bank of America cardholder, check their website b/c they offer free museum admission on different weekends throughout the year.

Would definitely stay again
The Hyatt is absolutely beautiful. This was my first opportunity to stay there and I would definitely go back if I have a chance. It was elegant, clean and very welcoming. The ONLY problem I had was the few hairs I found around the bathroom in our room. To me, that is disgusting, but the rest of the room made up for it. We only stayed one night, so I didn’t have a chance to see how the housekeeping staff would have cleaned up our room. Very pleased!
