There are no room charges for children 11 years old and younger who occupy the same room as their parents or guardians, using existing bedding.

What to expect: A legendary Strip hotel, the Tropicana preserves history and memories via many photographs of the entertainment giants who have performed here since the resort opened in 1957. Traditions such as dancers, comedians, and crooners prevail. The hotel draws both older and younger guests.

Amenity highlights: Sliding-glass doors separate a 1,500-square-foot heated indoor pool from the outdoor swim-up bar area. Swim-up blackjack is available. The lagoon-style pool meanders through a five-acre garden containing waterfalls and rock formations. The garden includes an adult pool and three eight-person spa tubs. For-rent cabanas come with television, phone, ceiling fan, and padded lounges.

Insider tip: Open Memorial Day through Labor Day, the swim-up, waterproof blackjack counter features money dryers.

The daily hotel resort fee includes two free drinks, incoming faxes, local phone calls, use of fitness center; and valet parking (gratuity not included).

Legends Steakhouse and Seafood - Overlooks hotel's garden/pool complex. Offering prime cuts and entree choices including beef, lamb, chicken, pork, duck, and seafood.

Havana Go Go - Sandwiches.

Island Buffet - Tropicana's version of the classic Las Vegas buffet restaurant. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A champagne brunch is offered on the weekend. Nightly, prime rib and shrimp are served.

Players Deli - This spot serves New York-style delicatessen items.

Bacio Italian Restaurant

Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Produced by David Saxe and starring Dirk Arthur, Xtreme Magic is a fast-paced show featuring comedy, audience participation, dance routines, and magic sequences. Exotic cats may include an orange Bengal tiger, white striped tigers, a pure-white snow tiger, and black African leopards. Show tickets are available at the hotel’s box office.

The Sopranos' Last Supper is sure to entertain patrons with its unique parody of the award winning show including singing, dancing, fine Italian cuisine, comedy, and more. Guests can interact with characters Tony Baritone, Bobby Baclava, Dee Dee Diamond, and the rest of the "family" while helping sniff out the rat among them. This energetic performance will have people out of their seats and engrossed in a mob-era not too long past.

Hypnosis Unleashed will offer a risque and riotous performance nightly in The Cellar. Watch Terry Stokes and Michael Johns amaze audiences with their often naughty but side-splitting powers of suggestion.

The Celebration Lounge presents live musical acts nightly.

The 55,000-square-foot Casino supplies slots, video poker, blackjack, craps, roulette, keno, and a race and sports book.

Free membership cards in the Winners Club permit slot and table players to accumulate points redeemable for cash, comps, and merchandise. From time to time, other benefits such as T-shirts are offered to new members.
