Convenient to McGill University
Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Downtown is convenient to McGill and close to Rue St Laurent. Room furniture, decor and bathrooms are starting to show their age. Rooms are comfortable though. Service was good. We did not try the restaurant.

Great location and price
My wife and I took our infant daughter on her first vacation and my mom, sister and niece decided to come too. When my mom arrived, she asked to be on the same floor and they accommodated her request so that we could all easily share child care and coordinate site seeing, etc. Also the location near downtown Montreal is very central, if you do not mind a short walk you can get to most of the great areas of the city e.g., Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, etc. When we checked out for an overnight trip to Quebec City, they made sure that we were able to stay on the same floor as my mom and they accommodated our rental car when Enterprise could not (although it was not their fault). Lastly, they have a nice little pool that we all enjoyed, although they have weird hours, and a VERY basic gym with fabulous views of the City. Overall, for the money, it was a great value.
