Le Vinci is a design boutique hotel, located only 3 minutes away from the Castle and the historical centre of Amboise, a medieval town on the left bank of the Loire River, where the great Leonardo da Vinci spent the remaining years of his life . A lift leads to the renovated and comfortable rooms, with warm colours which offer a pleasant atmosphere in a contemporary style. Le Vinci hotel is a good value for money lodging solution for a leisure stay in Amboise, if you want to discover the Châteaux de la Loire , as well for a business stay.

Very modern, very fine
This is a very new, modern facility that provided comfort and cleanliness in every aspect. The staff was very courtious, helpful and spoke fluent English. Breakfast was good (I had my 16 year old grandson who is 6’2" and 225#) and plentiful. The only drawback is that it is a good cab ride from the train station and a pleasant 15 minute walk from the city center.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The Amboise Chateau is well wort the trip. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to see it all. We found two excellent restruants. Unable to see the Leonard DiVince home and grounds because of heavy rainfall. Amboise has map boards posted in many locations so you can’t get lost.

Excellent hotel at a good price
Staff was very helpful. The hotel was new, modern and clean. A little out of town (not within walking distance tostroll the town), but a great place from which to drive to the chateaus.
