No place for families or to relax.
The hotel is set in the heart the night scene, bars, clubs, drunks. The place is loud until about six in the morning. The rooms are still in the same fashion for the 1970’s when it was likely built, and the linen has not been changed nor has the decorations, the hotel photos do not show just how dull the place is. The condo we got was dirty, the sheets were unclean, and the first room didn’t have a key, "but we will let you in and out", nice touch. There is no parking and good luck getting street parking. Switching rooms was only a slight headache, but the next room is really not any better. Lift was broken too.
Do not stay here with a family, there much better places to stay in the surrounding areas, but you may want to avoid St. Julian’s all together.

Great value, especially for students
You know what to expect...its a great hotel for students and those looking for an amazing deal. We spent nearly nothing on a room with a full kitchen, living room, a bedroom, and bathroom. They did our dishes everyday and completely cleaned the entire suite. It was comfy relative to the price we paid and we felt safe (3 girls). There is a "party street" nearby so you can hear the music from it if you keep your windows open but we didn’t really have a problem with it. Hotel itself is quiet. Perfect, for us. Don’t go if you’re expecting luxury. Full kitchen is amazing too for saving money.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Street nearby with clubs? All for like 16-18 yr olds. You need to figure out where the older crowd hangs out at if you’re around 20-25. And Fri/Sat are obviously muchh better.
