Excellent Location Paired with Great Service
This hotel truly exceeded our expectations. We have absolutely no complaints. The location was unbelievable. It was just right across the train station. Trust me, you will get lost in Venice if you wander around. Is a maze. We really appreciated the fact that we just needed to look for pointers to the train station. The room was absolutely gorgeous! The bathroom was done in such a tasteful and elegant manner. The owners really paid attention to details. What can I say about the service? It was perfect. Everybody was friendly. The breakfast was superb. If I ever go back to Venice, this is the hotel of choice.
Traveler's tip on dining
Venice is not like the rest of Italy. The food is at best - ok. You will find that dinning is more expensive than anywhere else in Italy. One important lesson weve learnt though is, never dine in any big open streets. Chances are that those restaurants are just geared towards tourists. Go more into neigborhoods where the Ventians live such as Venezia Sestiere. Food is better and cheaper.
