Excellent in all ways.
I have only positive comments about the hotel, the staff, and the location. You might want to be aware that there is construction on one side of the hotel; we were there on the weekend and on the opposite side of the hotel, so it didnt affect us at all. Also, when we walked into the Frankfurt city-center, we ended up walking through the Red Light district once, which was seedy and startling.

refreshing hotel
One subway stop from the main station. It is tucked behind the front buildings of the Messe. Once you figure that out, it is easy to get to. The room is big and comfortable and so is the bathroom. Good exercise room. The breakfast buffet is good, but expensive and the breakfast personnel very friendly. Most of the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, but one was decidedly unfriendly about cashing a 50 Euro bill so as to make shopping easier. Another attendant had been more than glad to do so on the previous day, and also provided an all day transportation ticket at a little less cost than from a vending machine. The room doors are heavy, so you hear them closing on the hall, and in fact if youre lying in bed can feel the room vibration. But overall, I think this hotel was a refreshing place to stay and a welcome change from the four star hotel across from the train station I stayed in on two other occasions.
Traveler's tip
Both the U4 underground and the tram stop at the Messe. But the U4 is the one to use when you have luggage as it puts you on the Messe side of the street.

Great Hotel
Great hotel all around. And I found some very cheap rates too! Its mainly a business hotel. Rooms are very clean, although typical European sie. All rooms have modern fixtures and furnishings. Definitely recommend it. It is located in a business complex. I was driving in. So didnt matter. But it did appear a bit of a walk to the nearest train station...but I didnt ask them.
