Value Play

Good deal for the price. Better than most hotels and in a great location. Bathroom disappointing; balcony very good. Disappointed in the lobby (it looked like they were hiding half of the hotel. Ate at world famous Factor’s Deli right down the block. Great pickles.

a very convenient, clean and comfortable place

We stay at the tower because of the location...there is a market and walgreen type store accross the st. a gym in the hotel, you can have breakfast there, or we like the deli down the road - it has all the things we need. Its clean and the staff are very helpful We are away all day, and come back to very comfortable beds - bathroom is small, but they have a dresser for me outside the bathroom so I can put on my make up while husband is in the bathroom . He is fussy - but he likes this hotel. Its not 5 star, but its very nice. they are renovating now - so it should be even better soon ....

Enjoyed our stay

The Tower Beverly Hills is a nice and affordable option in a good location. We very much liked our price and the people working there were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What we liked...The price was great and the location was really convenient. There’s a grocery store across the street and our room had a mini fridge. That’s crucial when travelling with two young kids. The beds were both "memory foam," which was very nice. The cleaning team did a very nice job. The hotel has a nice heated pool that my kids really enjoyed. What we didn’t like as much...The room furnishings are a bit on the old side. The t.v. had some issues getting a few channels. The heat/cooling systems was a bit tricky, so the room would get a bit warm during the day and overnight, but not too bad. Finally, there’s no self parking, valet only. We were charged an additional amount per day for this and then of course had to tip for all the in and outs (we were busy). Overall though, a very good place and I would stay again.

Great Hotel

This hotel was great. I was impressed with the overall cleanliness and the kind and helpful service. The room was nice with the most amazing, comfortable bed you have ever slept in (I barely budged all night long). The view from the balcony, at least from one of the higher levels, was gorgeous! Great hotel, would recommend it to anyone!

Definately go to The London in West Hollywood for dinner. The Gordon Ramsey Restaraunt is a wonderful splurge for those on a diet or a budget. Amazing food! Amazing service! An all around great experience.

Would go back

The hotel was in a convenient location for the activities planned (medical conference and fund-raiser) . Good value for location. Walking distance to bus. Grocery store/pharmacy across the street to pick up items to have in the room refrigerator. Room needed additional garbage can. Service did not replace complimentary coffee on first day. Breakfast buffet overpriced for items available. We didn’t go out to eat much in this area--unsure where all places are. Good deli within walking distance. Bellman/front desk staff were attentive and courteous. Parking charges $22/day which seems to be at all hotels. Overall, I would stay there again if my activities were in that part of the city.

Can’t wait to visit again!

I would highly recommend this hotel....courteous staff, great central location, and spacious rooms. Hotel offered me a complimentary upgrade to a suite upon my arrival. Free wifi and access to computers & printers available in the lobby of the hotel. I can’t wait to visit again very soon!

A Nice Hotel

The Tower is a nice hotel. It is walking distance to restaurants and shops on Beverly Blvd. The staff was very helpful. The room had a great view with a small terrace. The valet parking is not cheap, but that is par for the course in LA. The lobby, swimming pool and other common areas are fine, but nothing special. There is free wireless in the lobby as well as two computers and a printer, which is very convenient. Housekeeping kept the room clean, but they often forgot to leave clean towels, soap, coffee packets and the like.

a couple of the front desk employees could use a customer service training class

Hotel was very nice. Beds were wicked comfy. The bar was only open from 5-11 and the bartender was a sweetheart. BUT mngmnt didn’t let her keep any money in her drawer so she had to go to the front desk to give me change for a $20. Spencer and Jessica at the front desk were very rude when we asked them to cash some travelers checks. He refused to do it and told us the hotel didn’t have any cash on hand and he was the "manager". The other manager Kevin was awesome and helped us out with the travelers checks and cashed them for us. It was great to prove Spencer’s rude face wrong. There is no kitchen at the hotel so you have to order take out from a place down the street that has a $5 delivery fee but they let you charge it to your room they close early probably around 9.

Traveler's tip

There is so much to do in LA, 4 days wasn’t enough.

Would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint, which I found at all hotels lately, is that they only have a two cup coffee maker so we went out and bought a 12 cup coffee maker for our week there. Otherwise, all was great.

Excellent hotel and location

This was a very central hotel, right near Rodeo Drive. The service was fantastic and the pool area was great with the kids. The bus stop is right out the front of the hotel which you can catch to Santa Monica Pier or the other end to catch a connecting bus to Hollywood Boulevard. Great restaurants around if you enjoy a short walk. Room was large, we had 6 suitcases!!! Recommend to families.

Central for catching the bus to various sights as taxis can be quite expensive....

great location, nice hotel

The room was nice, the location was great for what we were doing-Museum of Tolerance, Rodeo Drive, Santa Monica etc. Thought the breakfast was overpriced and not very good food.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Visit the Museum of Tolerance. Very interesting. Recommend it for kids 13 and up.

Excellent

The Tower Beverly Hills is a nice and clean place. It’s very conveniently located, just 15-20 minutes walking distance from Rodeo Drive.

Very nice, clean, with good view

the 7 of us took an impromtu trip to LA to visit the garment district, Venice, and Hollywood for the weekend (5 adults and two children-ages 7 and 10). We decided to try a stay in Beverly Hills as we hadnt done so before. We booked two rooms for one night, each with double beds. Check in was terrific, all of the staff were friendly, helpful and personable. The lobby has a nice area off to the side where people in your party can sit and relax while waiting for you to check in. Valet parking is not included. Staff recommended restaurants within walking distance that were actually good. Beds are memory foam and comfortable, views were exceptional, I liked the black out shades which let you sleep in. Kids loved the heated Pool which was clean and warm and lots of areas to sit and lounge under umbrellas. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Max capacity of pool area is only 16, so get there early or very late- open til 11pm. If you get to the pool late, make sure there are towels left on the rack, otherwise you could be stuck there without one! Valet parking is not included and is $26 per night, but you do have in and out privileges.

Not impressed

I was dissapointed in the hotel, it wasn’t anything like what I saw on the Internet. It didn’t have a jacuzzi, my room smelled like cigarette smoke. I wasn’t informed that I had to valet park and pay $22 per night to park there. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the staff was was extremely polite and helpful with directions and suggestions on where to visit.
