Worth considering
The hotel is quite nice, clean, and well-kept. Rates were reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good--self-serve buffet with good selection of food and beverages. Drawbacks include a fairly long hike from the Sorrento train station to the hotel (20-25 minutes) along a road that is busy and at times very narrow. Also, though adequately furnished, my room overlooked the road and traffic noise was a problem during the day and at night. (I used ear plugs.)
If you have a lot of luggage (e.g., more than a backpack and/or carry-on bag per person), consider a taxi from the train station to the hotel.

No rest for the weary
This is a nice inn owned and managed by a very nice welcoming family. The breakfasts are satisfying. The property is beautiful. The pool is fine. There are even many rooms with a view of the beautiful Gulf of Naples. Unfortunately, the inn is right on the main road of Sorrento so all tour and local buses, along with the cars/motorcyles/trucks, pass by the front door of the inn. With rooms in the front and corners, where mine was, even closing shutters and drawing curtains failed to drown out the traffic noise--it is so loud that you need to raise the volume of the TV if you wish to hear it. That might be worse than the back of the inn since theres a 2 story-high stone wall across the street from front of the place. My bathroom were quite small by any standard. Im an average-sized woman (140lbs.)and still found that i was always in touch with a wall or fixture in that space. The towels feel starched. The location is ok though it is a 1K/.7mile walk or bus ride to center of town. Best part overall was the relative feeling of safety I felt at the inn and while exploring this region of Italy.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Rick Steves Guide to Italy is great! I had 3 others and ended up depending on Ricks during my 2 weeks vacation. You can trust it to lead you to the must-see best places. For Sorrento, public transportation is fabulous. You can use it easily and economically to visit Capri, Amalfi coast, Naples, Vesuvius, Pompeii.
