Great Hotel-- Even better price

This hotel is in a fabulous location, great price, free internet, helpful staff, free breakfast, comfortable rooms... it was better than i even expected. I would definitely recommend this to anyone not wanting to spend a fortune!

Rename it into DISASTER !

Rooms size od jail cell, with tiny beds. Dirty courtyard, constant construction noise. Swarms of FLIES in rooms, no screens on windows. Breakfast is served ACROSS the street. Steep and dirty stairwell, no elevators. Interruptpions in phone service and hot water. Some staff are unrofessional (allowing strangers to stay in my room waiting for me WITHOUT my permission); some are plainly rude. No clock, no radio, no coffee maker, no drinking water in any room. How could it be a 3-star hotel? it’s a substandard HOSTEL, at the best. Stay away from this one, it’s a shame - having such a hotle in this beautiful city!

Dear Gelena, We would like to inform you that at the present time the renovation of the hotel has been finished and as a result now there is a new restaurant in the Nevsky Aster Hotel, where 45 guests of our hotel can have breakfast at the same time, we have ecreased the room quantity, put screens on the windows, in the courtyard now you can find a private parking for cars of our guests. There is free access to the Wi-Fi Internet in the hotel. The hotel is a historical building without any possibility to install the elevator. The policy of our company is to make all guests feel comfortable, that is why we are improving our service day by day. As for the clean water, there are coolers with hot and cold water everywhere in the hotel. Or you can order tea, coffee or any transfer or excursions to the beautiful places of our city directly at the reception.

Almost satisfied

Centrally located hotel with very nice staff and a reasonable breakfast. I would have been satisfied with the hotel considering the price and location if the bed wasnt so uncomfortable. Also a neighboring hotel was going through renovation which made for a noisy early morning but I guess I cant blame them for this.
